Card spotlight: Sight Unseen
One Attack, four words, and the longest silence in golf: the shot you hit with your eyes closed.
Opponent’s shot is hit:
with eyes closed.
That’s the whole card. No sub-clauses, no exceptions — you read it to your rival at the tee box, they close their eyes, and everyone else gets very, very quiet.
Timing is the craft. Played on a wide-open par 3 it’s a warm-up giggle. Saved for the tightest tee shot on the loop, it’s the story everyone retells in the parking lot.
It’s also the fairest dirty trick in the deck: closing your eyes doesn’t touch your grip or your stance, and plenty of good swings survive it. The comedy is in the peeking.
When we film this one on a real pitch-and-putt, the clip lands right here.
